Lazaretta or Lazaretto, is a small uninhabited island close to the northern coast of Crete in the Aegean sea. It is located near the city of Chania and the distance from the port is approximately 10 minutes by boat. There is a small sandy beach ideal for pleasure and relaxation, swimming and snorkeling. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the marine life of this area and learn about the history of the place.
